Read the result before you build your official list
The calculation subtracts the selected official cutoff percentile from your percentile. It separately subtracts your State General Merit Number from the selected cutoff merit number. No score-to-rank conversion, forecast or hidden weighting is used.
The State CET Cell’s 2026–27 information brochure permits 1 to 300 options in decreasing order of preference and says CAP Rounds I–IV use computerised allotment. The brochure also says allotment for Maharashtra State candidates depends on inter-se merit, options filled and seats available.
