The short answer
Embibe is a practice and analysis platform, while RG Lectures is a teacher: RG Sir explains the Physics chapter first, with notes, PYQs and mock tests in the same batch. Our Long Term Batch is ₹1,632 in one payment, against Embibe's paid plans at ₹799 to ₹999 a month. If most of your wrong answers are concept errors, buy teaching before more testing.

How each looks

Which should you choose?
Choose RG Lectures if
- You need the chapter explained: our Long Term Batch is live classes with recordings by RG Sir, while Embibe's strength is testing and analysing what you attempted
- You want one price to the exam: the batch is ₹1,632 and runs until 31/05/2027, against ₹2,697 for three months of Embibe's quarterly plan
- You want notes, PYQs and mocks in the same place, so you are not stitching together a lecture source, a question source and a test source
- Your Class 11 is shaky: the batch covers Class 11 basics, and the MHTCET 2028 Class 11 Physics batch is ₹1,212 if you are only in Class 11 now
- You are a dropper, or you need only Chemistry: the Droppers/Advance Batch is ₹2,121, the Chemistry 2027 batch is ₹1,459, and the Chemistry Comeback Series 2027 is free
Choose Embibe if
- You already understand the chapters and want timed practice with detailed analysis of what you attempted
- You want Advanced Feedback Analysis with time per subject, attempt strategy and chapter-wise performance
- You want Mathematics subject tests or past papers from 2010 to 2024 alongside Physics and Chemistry

Introduction
A mock test tells you which questions you got wrong, and it rarely tells you why the Physics never made sense in the first place.
That is the gap between the two products. Embibe is a practice and analysis platform for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET): you attempt questions, then read a breakdown, with paid entrance-exam plans running from ₹799 to ₹999 a month as of October 2026.
RG Lectures is a teacher. RG Sir explains the Physics chapter first, and then you practise the questions, with notes, previous year questions and mock tests inside the same batch.
The difference matters most for students who are still unsure of a chapter. Practice platforms reward you once the idea is clear. Before that, extra tests mostly repeat the same misses, and the money goes on measuring rather than learning. Embibe is a good place to practise; the question is when you start using it.
Key takeaways
- For MHT-CET Physics, we recommend the RG Lectures MHTCET 2027 Long Term Batch: Physics and Chemistry in live classes plus recordings, with notes, previous year questions (PYQs) and mock tests, for ₹1,632, valid until 31/05/2027.
- Embibe's paid entrance-exam plans run from ₹799 to ₹999 a month (as of October 2026), and three months on the quarterly plan costs ₹2,697.
- Mocks show you what you got wrong, not why. If most of your wrong answers are concept errors, buy teaching before more testing.
- Our Long Term Batch gives you teaching, notes, PYQs and mocks in one ₹1,632 payment.
What does Embibe offer for MHT CET, and is it enough on its own?
Embibe offers subject-wise and full-length MHT CET mock tests, chapter practice and past papers, with a detailed analysis layer on top. It is a strong practice tool. It is not a lecture course, so if Physics concepts are your problem, we recommend RG Lectures first and mocks second.
Embibe's MHT CET mock page has tests covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, plus full tests. Previous year question papers are listed for 2010 to 2024, and the page carries a March 2025 update date. The detailed report is called Advanced Feedback Analysis (AFA). It shows time per subject, attempt strategy, chapter-wise performance and video solutions for difficult questions. The full AFA opens when you spend Embiums, points you earn by solving practice questions.
That is a good product for what it does. The question is whether practice is what you are short of.
When should you choose RG Lectures over Embibe?
Choose RG Lectures when your marks are being lost in Physics understanding rather than in practice volume. The reasons are listed under "Choose RG Lectures if", each tied to what the batch contains.
Droppers have the Droppers/Advance Batch, with live classes, notes, PYQs and mocks. Students still in Class 11 have the MHTCET 2028 Class 11 Physics batch, and those who need only Chemistry have the Chemistry 2027 batch.
Padhna Aasaan Hai when someone explains the chapter properly, and that is the part Embibe's tests are not built to do.
How much does Embibe cost compared with a full Physics batch?
Over the seven months from late October 2026 to 31 May 2027, Embibe's paid entrance-exam plans work out at about ₹6,993 to ₹9,588 depending on the plan, against ₹1,632 for the Long Term Batch. The products differ, so this compares cost, not equivalence.
How we worked this out: we took the per-month prices from the entrance and board exam table on Embibe's subscription page and multiplied by months, assuming about seven months of study, plans bought in whole terms and no renewal beyond the plans needed. This is our model, not an Embibe total. The government-exams table on the same Embibe page shows different per-month figures, so use the entrance and board exam plans for MHT CET. The comparison matters when you are deciding whether to pay for a paid tier.

How can you test an Embibe mock before you pay?
Run four checks on an Embibe mock. Each has a pass and a fail, and together they tell you whether Embibe, a teacher, or both is the right spend. The pass thresholds are our rules of thumb, with the reason given for each.
Is the test current?
Pass: the test or page names the 2026-27 cycle or later. Fail: it carries a 2025 date. This is our rule of thumb, because a test built for an older cycle may not match the current paper. The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) publishes a fresh information brochure each cycle; the one for academic year (A.Y.) 2026-27 was published 10/01/2026 on its brochure page. Treat anything older as practice, not a syllabus guide.
Can you see your wrong answers without paying?
Pass: after one mock you can open each wrong question and its solution. Fail: the useful report is locked. If locked, note it and move to the next check.
How long does it take to earn Embiums?
Pass: you can open one full analysis after solving no more than one practice session's worth of questions. Fail: it takes more. This is our rule of thumb, because Embiums should not cost you more study time than the analysis saves. Count the practice questions you solve until the analysis opens.
Are your errors concept errors or practice errors?
Tag every wrong answer from the mock as concept (you did not know the idea), calculation, or time. Pass for buying more mocks: concept errors are under one-third of your wrong answers. Fail: concept errors are one-third or more, so teaching comes before more tests. This is our rule of thumb: if a third or more of your errors come from not knowing the idea, more testing repeats the same misses. Our 45-minute error log method walks through the tagging, and the official MHT-CET mock is the free test to practise on.
This last check is the one the others lead to. Mocks measure; they do not repair a concept. Our online MHT CET classes teach the concept first.
Our verdict
If your marks are being lost in Physics understanding rather than practice volume, RG Lectures' ₹1,632 Long Term Batch teaches the chapters and bundles notes, PYQs and mocks in one payment.
How we compared
We compared Embibe's paid MHT CET entrance-exam plans and mock tests with RG Lectures' MHTCET 2027 batches, using Embibe's subscription and mock pages, the CET Cell brochure listing and our own course pages, as of October 2026. The cost to 31 May 2027 is our own model, built on per-month prices and about seven months of study. We did not compare teaching quality, results or user reviews.
