In brief
The State CET Cell’s 2026–27 engineering CAP list contains 387 participating institutes with combined total intake of 194,330. Use the official source-year label, institute and course fields, and remember that total intake is not the same as Centralised Admission Process seats.

This page uses only the State Common Entrance Test Cell’s A.Y. 2026–27 engineering admissions records. It includes official institute-list and institute-detail fields, and applies the brochure’s distinction between total intake and CAP seats. Refresh the dataset only after a new academic-year institute list or an official CAP publication. The data is useful for filtering and checking records, but not for ranking colleges, estimating fees or predicting an individual allotment.
Read the list as a dated CAP record
The State CET Cell’s 2026–27 engineering admissions portal publishes the participating-institute list, the Round I seat matrix, later-round vacancy positions and post-Round-IV vacant seats. A reliable college list should keep its academic-year label and change only when the CET Cell publishes a new stage.

Do not turn intake into a prediction
A college’s total intake is a useful filter, but it does not state the number of seats available to every candidate. The 2026–27 Information Brochure defines CAP seats as sanctioned intake less institutional quota, and allocation also changes by institution type, autonomy and minority status. For seat-type context, read why seat codes make cutoffs college and course specific. For a shortlist, use the MHT-CET college predictor alongside the current official round data.
