RG Lectures vs Unacademy MHT CET: Cost and Fit for Physics

Unacademy does not publish a price on its Swarajya batch page, so students comparing it with other MHT-CET courses are working blind. Swarajya is Unacademy's own name for its Maharashtra Class 11 plus MHT-CET batch.

Ours is visible. The RG Lectures MHTCET 2027 Long Term Batch costs ₹1,632 as of October 2026 and bundles live classes with recordings, notes, previous-year questions (PYQs) and mock tests for Physics and Chemistry, taught by Rahul Jewaani, known as RG Sir.

Unacademy's Swarajya batch page publishes no price, and the prices on its plan pages are for previous-cycle programmes, from ₹10,000 to ₹2,00,000. The table lists them beside ours, as of October 2026.

Swarajya and Excel are Unacademy's own batch and plan names. Our arithmetic, so you can redo it: ₹1,58,000 ÷ 12 months = about ₹13,167 a month. Plans are labelled by exam year, so check the price for your year at checkout.

Run these six checks on every course, ours included. Each has a pass and a fail.

1. Batch year. Pass: the name or description names the exam year you are sitting. Fail: it names an earlier year, or none. Crash-course batches are the usual trap.
2. Checkout price. Pass: the amount at the payment step matches the page, with taxes shown. Fail: the amount changes or an add-on appears.
3. Subjects. Pass: every subject you need is in the course description. Fail: a subject is missing and you have no plan for it.
4. Practice. Pass: PYQs and mock tests are listed as included. Fail: only lectures are listed.
5. Access end date. Pass: access ends at least 4 weeks after your exam date. Fail: it ends earlier.
6. Language and instructor. Pass: you follow a full 10-minute sample without rewinding more than twice. Fail: you rewind more than twice.
