Why I Started RG Lectures
I'm Rahul Jewaani, and my students know me as RG Sir. I started RG Lectures in May 2018 to make Physics easier to understand, particularly for students who feel stuck when a chapter turns into numericals and derivations.
Physics is all around us. Yet recognising something in everyday life and solving a question about it can feel like two very different tasks. I wanted to help students make that connection: understand the idea, see how the formula describes it and learn to apply it.
Making the First Step Easier
A page of formulas can be intimidating when you do not know where to begin. Even after watching a solved example, you may look at the next question and feel unsure which formula to use.
That is the difficulty I want my teaching to address. My aim is to give you a starting point you understand, so you can follow why a solution works and try the next problem with that reasoning in mind.
I have a BSc and an MSc in Physics. Teaching the subject means taking that knowledge and explaining it in a way you can work with, one concept at a time.
Starting With the Concept
I teach from the basics and then move into numericals. Before a calculation, I want the physical idea to be clear: what is happening in the question, what is known and what needs to be found.
For example, when you revise a formula, try explaining what each symbol means and when the relationship applies. Then attempt a question that uses it. If you get stuck, you have something specific to revisit in the explanation.
This is the connection I want to build between a lecture and your own practice. Following a solution is useful; being able to begin one yourself is the next step.
Why I Use Simple Hinglish
I explain Physics in simple Hinglish to make the discussion easier to follow. The goal is to help you spend your attention on the concept and the steps in the problem.
Clear language matters in a derivation just as much as it does in an introduction to a chapter. I want you to understand why one step follows another, so the final expression has meaning when you use it.
