ESC-104-CVL sits in the SPPU FE structure
SPPU's 2024 FE curriculum places Engineering Mechanics alongside Engineering Graphics in the Semester I and Semester II structure. Check your college timetable and course code before enrolling, because the tables show the two subjects in a paired slot across the first-year semesters.
The SPPU scheme assigns ESC-104-CVL two theory hours and two practical hours each week. It carries three credits, with 30 CCE marks, 70 end-semester marks and 25 term-work marks.
The syllabus moves from forces to particle motion
The SPPU 2024 course specification groups Engineering Mechanics into five six-hour units: force systems and resultants, equilibrium, friction and trusses, kinematics of a particle, and kinetics of a particle. The same specification names practical work on polygon law of forces, beam support reactions, friction and restitution.

Our Pune University Engineering Mechanics course is for FE students taking Engineering Mechanics and wanting to begin from the basics with in-depth lectures at their own pace. It is not the right purchase if your college has assigned you Engineering Graphics instead of ESC-104-CVL.
