TL;DR
Start with the official MHT-CET familiarisation mock when available, then buy the series that matches your stream and the number of full mocks you will complete. Competishun Complete has the lowest published cost per listed full mock, GanitAnk suits PCM students who want detailed analysis, and Aakash suits scheduled PCB or PCMB preparation.
Start with one official MHT-CET familiarisation mock when your exam-year portal posts it. Then buy the paid series whose published full-mock count matches the attempts you can complete and review.
For the lowest published cost per full mock, Competishun Complete is ₹999 for 18 full mocks. GanitAnk Alpha 6.0 is ₹999 for PCM students who want detailed solutions and analysis. Aakash suits students who want a fixed PCB or PCMB test calendar.
Use the Official Mock Before Buying
The official mock teaches the computer-based test flow. A paid series gives you repeated timed practice, solutions, and a review system. The State CET Cell’s 2026 information brochure set PCM at 150 questions in 180 minutes. Physics and Chemistry ran for the first 90 minutes, then auto-submitted before Mathematics opened for the next 90 minutes.
That 90-minute lock matters. A realistic PCM mock must practise the same subject order and time pressure, not simply present 150 questions on one screen. Use our guide to practise the official MHT-CET mock when the State CET Cell publishes the link for your exam year.
Compare Current Paid Test Series
These are current product pages with a published price. They serve different students, so choose by stream, mock volume, and review tools.
| Test Series | Current Price | Full Mocks | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Competishun Starter | ₹699 | 10 | Budget PCM or PCB practice |
| Competishun Complete | ₹999 | 18 | More mocks and chapter tests |
| GanitAnk Alpha 6.0 | ₹999 | Ask before checkout | PCM analysis and solutions |
| Aakash DLP PCMB | ₹3,499 incl. GST | 12 | Scheduled PCMB preparation |
| Aakash DLP PCB | ₹2,999 incl. GST | 12 | Scheduled PCB preparation |
Competishun’s Starter and Complete plans publish the cleanest volume comparison. Starter includes 10 full mocks and 10 previous-year papers. Complete includes 18 full mocks, 18 previous-year papers, and 78 PCMB chapter tests.
Choose Starter when you need a lower-cost full-mock base. Choose Complete when you will use chapter tests and can schedule more than 10 reviewed attempts.
GanitAnk Alpha 6.0 is a ₹999 PCM product in English and Hindi. Its page lists a simulated MHT-CET environment, detailed solutions, analysis, instant feedback, and subject-wise tests. Its page does not state a full-mock count, so ask for that number before paying.
Aakash DLP PCMB costs ₹3,499 including GST. It lists 126 practice sheets, 8 part tests, 12 complete-syllabus mocks, and 20 scheduled tests from September 2026 to April 2027.
Aakash DLP PCB costs ₹2,999 including GST. It lists 95 practice sheets, 8 part tests, 12 complete-syllabus mocks, and 20 scheduled tests.
Choose Aakash when a fixed schedule will make you test consistently. Choose a PCM option when Mathematics is part of your MHT-CET attempt. A PCB package cannot replace Maths practice.
Calculate the Cost per Useful Mock
A low checkout price helps only when you complete the tests. Use two calculations before you enrol.
Published cost per full mock = checkout price ÷ listed full mocks.
Your cost per useful full mock = checkout price ÷ mocks you will sit, review, and retry.
| Test Series | Price | Listed Full Mocks | Cost Per Full Mock |
|---|---|---|---|
| Competishun Starter | ₹699 | 10 | ₹69.90 |
| Competishun Complete | ₹999 | 18 | ₹55.50 |
| Aakash DLP PCMB | ₹3,499 | 12 | ₹291.58 |
| Aakash DLP PCB | ₹2,999 | 12 | ₹249.92 |
Competishun Complete has the lowest published cost per listed full mock in this comparison. That does not make 18 mocks the better purchase for every student.
Suppose you have eight weeks left and can protect one mock session each week. Competishun Starter gives you 10 listed mocks at ₹69.90 each. If you complete only six, your useful-mock cost becomes ₹699 ÷ 6 = ₹116.50.
Buy the volume you will actually use. A full mock needs 180 minutes of protected test time for the 2026 PCM reference format, plus review time.
Check Whether the Series Is Actually Realistic
A realistic mock follows the exam structure you will face. Check these six points on the product page before payment.
-
Your stream appears in the product name. PCM, PCB, and PCMB are different purchases.
-
The full-mock count is stated. A large question-bank number does not tell you how many exam-length attempts you receive.
-
The timed structure matches the current official rules. For 2026 PCM, Physics and Chemistry came first for 90 minutes, followed by Mathematics for 90 minutes. Physics and Chemistry carried one mark each, while Mathematics carried two marks each. The official brochure remains the source to check when the next exam-year brochure arrives.
-
You can see solutions after submission. A score alone cannot show whether you lost marks through a concept gap, a calculation error, or poor question selection.
-
The analysis helps you act. Useful analysis separates subjects, tracks time, and points to weak topics. Competishun publishes section-wise analysis and time insights. GanitAnk publishes detailed solutions and analysis.
-
The schedule fits your calendar. Aakash publishes scheduled tests every one or two weeks. Use that structure only if you can protect those dates.
Try a free attempt when one is available. Competishun offers a free mock, and GanitAnk’s course store lists a free MHT-CET MiniCET test. A sample attempt shows whether the interface and solution style help you learn.
Decide How Many Full Mocks You Need
Your useful number is the number you can attempt, analyse, and repair before the exam. Count your weekly mock slots before choosing a product.
Our rule of thumb is simple: reserve one 180-minute mock block and one 45-minute review block for every full mock. Do not count a mock as complete until you have recorded what went wrong and scheduled a retry. Use this planning guide:
- 6 available mock slots: a 10-mock series gives enough buffer.
- 8 to 10 available mock slots: choose a series with 10 to 18 full mocks.
- More than 12 available mock slots: choose a higher-volume series only if your chapter revision is stable.
Students who still have broad syllabus gaps should use chapter tests first. Students who have completed most chapters should shift toward full PCM or PCB simulations.
Previous-year questions belong in that plan. Use our MHT-CET PYQ practice library to repair one weak chapter before your next full mock.
Turn Every Mock into Score Improvement
Your review decides whether the next mock changes anything. Do not spend 180 minutes taking a test and five minutes looking at the total.
After every attempt, create three lists: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Add every incorrect answer, unattempted question, and guessed-correct answer.
For each question, record:
- the chapter
- the error type
- one repair action
- a blind retry date
Use six error labels: concept gap, formula recall, wrong method, calculation slip, misread question, and time pressure. “Weak in Physics” is too broad to fix. “Lost four Current Electricity questions through calculation slips” gives you a repair task.
Our 45-minute PCM error log gives you the exact template. It separates the three subjects so one combined score does not hide a Maths timing problem or a Physics concept gap. At RG Lectures, we offer a free MHT-CET Physics mock with a timer, solutions, and a chapter-level error report. If Physics coverage is your main gap, our MHTCET 2027 Long Term Batch displays ₹1,632 and includes full-syllabus Physics, Class 11 basics, and recordings.
FAQs
Can a Mock-Test Score Predict My MHT-CET Percentile?
No. A mock score shows performance on one provider’s paper, while an official percentile depends on the actual examination process. The State CET Cell’s 2026 brochure states that percentile is not the same as percentage of marks.
Use mock scores to track accuracy, timing, and recurring mistakes. Use official admission data separately when planning colleges.
Should I Buy a Second MHT-CET Test Series?
Buy a second series only after you have completed and reviewed the full mocks in the first one. A second provider can give you fresh question styles, but it cannot fix unreviewed mistakes from the first provider.
Finish your planned mocks, review them, and use PYQs to test repaired chapters. Add another series when you still have mock slots and need fresh full-length papers.
Should I Take Full Mocks Before Finishing the Syllabus?
Yes, but start with chapter or part-syllabus tests when several chapters remain unfinished. Take an early full mock to learn the interface and identify your biggest gaps.
Move to regular full mocks once you can attempt most questions from all three PCM subjects, or all three PCB subjects. The result should direct the next week of revision.
